Victoria Bortfeld – Research Assistant

Victoria provides background research for select projects and aiding in the creation of other publications. She has previously worked in the nonprofit field on a water filtration project in Cochabamba, Bolivia, where she supported project activities through research and community collaboration. This experience sparked her interest in equitable public health initiatives and multi-sector collaboration. Victoria also works with David Maurrasse on his upcoming book project and helps with article-writing spanning numerous different aspects and case studies of philanthropic action. 
 
Victoria is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health – Environmental Health Sciences at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University. She also holds a BA in English Literature and International Studies from the University of Michigan.
