Nabila Mehjabeen, MSGA

Research Assistant

Nabila is a recent graduate with a Masters in Global Affairs from New York University where she concentrated on International Relations and Global Futures. While pursuing her Master’s she also worked in New York University’s Office of Global Services as an Administrative Aide. She has knowledge of US higher education and processed immigration documents for International Students and Scholars coming to US for study, teach or research. She previously interned in NYC Department of Probation and Teach for Bangladesh. Nabila is an avid researcher and wants to help form policies that will have inclusive societal change. In her Master’s thesis, she used Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nation’s framework to see how United States is handling food security during the pandemic. She is also interested in climate change, human rights, international development, social justice, hunger issues and equality for all.

She also holds an Associate degree in Business Administration from Borough of Manhattan Community College and a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Management Studies from New York University. She is originally from Bangladesh and has been living in the Bronx, New York for the last 11 years.
