Tesse Akpeki

Tesse has long experience of working for the benefit of voluntary sector organisations. During her eight years as Head of the Trustee and Governance Team at National Council for Voluntary Organisations, Tesse had the opportunity to work with over 700 voluntary sector boards on various aspects of governance. Drawing on her experience, she has authored numerous books and articles on trusteeship, governance and leadership.
Cheryl Blankenship
Cheryl brings over 35 years of work experience in the areas of higher education, financial management, and consulting to Marga Incorporated. Cheryl previously worked as a senior advisor for the Corporation of National and Community Services, senior program officer of the Americorps Programs, and consultant to Learn and Serve America. She has also worked for a number of universities including MIT, Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, and Mills College as a member of the financial management team.
Faith Bynoe
Faith E. Bynoe brings ten years of experience in community psychology and community revitalization to building the capacities of communities. She has also worked for the Bush-Clinton Katrina Fund, Annie E. Casey Foundation, National Institute of Health/Syracuse, and the National Center of Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University where she served in various programs and research capacities.
Bob Davidson
Bob brings extensive experience in federal agencies, including the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Departments of Education and Health and Human Services, and the U.S. Navy.
Darryl Peterkin
Darryl Peterkin was previously a senior program officer and Director of the Center to Serve Historically Black Colleges and Universities at the Southern Education Foundation. He is an experienced administrator with twelve-years of experience in both the nonprofit sector and higher education.
Judith Kallick Russell
Judith has over 20 years of promoting peace and democracy through civic engagement. She is currently working as a researcher, facilitator and evaluatator of community dialogue in action both within the U.S. and internationally.
Julie Tugend
Julie brings expertise from philanthropy, and government and community based organizations in Los Angeles, California.
